At Sage and Sand Farm, we’re dedicated to raising healthy loving animals.
Origin of the name Sage and Sand Farm
Sage and Sand Farm was named for Baby Sage who recently passed away due to cancer. She was a light in our life and we wanted to keep her memory alive. Sand comes from the predominantly sandy soil here on the farm in Upshur County Texas which Baby Sage always had a habit of bringing back into the house with her.
Meet the Herd
Welcome to the heart of Sage and Sand Farm—our beloved herd of goats! Nestled in the piney woods of East Texas, our goats are more than just animals; they're part of the family and a vital part of our farm’s rhythm and life.
Each goat has a unique personality, from the curious climbers to the laid-back loungers, and we care for them with the respect and love they deserve. Our herd includes a mix of hardy, friendly breeds chosen for their temperament, milk quality, and adaptability to our land. Whether they’re grazing the pastures, lounging in the sun, or coming up to say hello, they bring joy and energy to every day.
We raise our goats naturally, with access to clean forage, fresh water, and plenty of space to roam. Their well-being is our top priority, and we’re proud to share their stories, photos, and antics with you.
Whether you're here to learn more about our farm life, explore our goat milk products, or just meet the animals, we’re so glad you stopped by. Take a moment to get to know our herd—we think you’ll fall in love just like we did.
